How to cancel plans when you need self-care instead
It's tough to practice real self-care when the internet's obsessed with self-care. Most of us say yes to too many things. It will lower my stress levels, allow me to go to bed earlier, and save me money that I would have spent on buses, Ubers, and wine. Ditching in order to do nothing is, unequivocally, self-care. But there are ways to do it without being a dick.
What can I do about online dates who seem to lack manners?
Dating burnout is your worst enemy if you are looking for love. Right off the bat she had scoped out a profile she really liked and emailed him. He seemed interested, attentive and pretty fabulous on paper. The next thing you know…she has a date!
